Challenge

Sourcing a suitably strong, corrosion resistant pipe, without resorting to cumbersome and carbon intensive concrete pipes. Forming very large concrete bends and chambers at depth would be undesirable and inefficient.

Solution

Aquaspira CSR pipe, with smooth HDPE internal bore provided a 120+ Year Design Life. The lighter weight pipes and prefabricated access units and bends offered a much safer and more efficient method of construction.

Outcome

The project was safely completed well within the planned timescale, providing the client with a cost-effective long-term solution.
